A premier construction and engineering company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the industrial construction and maintenance market. The ideal candidate has a strong background in business development and client relationship management, with an understanding of technical solutions. By leveraging strong communication skills, the new team member will drive revenue growth by building key client accounts and fostering trusted relationships, while collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver value-driven solutions.

- $100,000-$130,000 + Commission

Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales strategy and execution plans for identifying and building relationships with new customers, promoting the company’s suite of services to those customers, and identifying and winning new project opportunities with those customers.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with existing clients to promote the brand and continue to earn repeat business, and to expand the relationships by promoting the broader suite of the company’s services.
- Collaborate with sales team, EVP North America and EVP Growth and Strategy to develop and implement effective growth strategies and processes.
- Coordinate with other sales team members throughout North America to promote the full suite of the company’s services to the industrial market in North America.
- Timely and accurate input of sales opportunities and activities into Salesforce, and ongoing maintenance of CRM data to ensure it remains up to date and accurate.
- Create, lead, and participate in key account planning to achieve sales targets/metrics (e.g., sales wins, pipeline growth, sales activities, etc.).
- Focus on immediate needs while also not losing sight of long-term strategies.
- Create a safe and positive work environment by continuously communicating and resolving issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of total related experience in construction, engineering, or steel fabrication/ erection.
- Minimum of three (3) years sales/marketing experience
- Experience with using Salesforce is preferred
