Position Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll team up with one or more Senior Account Managers to drive our sales efforts. Your mission? Make 60+ outbound calls daily, build strong relationships, and set up key meetings for our Sr. Account Managers. This role is ideal for someone new to sales who’s eager to learn and grow. Your knack for understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions will be crucial to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make 60+ outbound calls daily to potential clients within your assigned territory.
- Qualify outbound leads and set discovery meetings for the Sr. Account Manager
- Respond to all inbound leads within five minutes of assignment
- Upsell to past clients, work with Customer Success on client issues
- Prospect into unassigned accounts, find new opportunities in this pool of leads and assign to the correct territory in CRM
- Using MRP software, find product listings to support Buy Team in clearing backorders.
Qualifications:
- Passion for sales and a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Experience with CRM tools and lead management is a plus.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow, with an interest in pursuing certification in leading sales training programs.
