About the Job
Due to the continued growth of our Cold Chain Business, we are adding a Business Development Manager ("BDM") specific to the pharma and biotech space.
Position Summary
The Cold Chain BDM is a hunter role. They may reside in Chicago, Indianapolis, or Philadelphia and will report to the Director of EFP Temperature Assurance Solutions. The Cold Chain Business BDM will apply knowledge of a prospect's or customer's business to identify and define packaging opportunities for temperature sensitive products.
Requirements
Position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable discipline and 5 - 7 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in cold- chain sales and fulfillment service within the pharmaceutical distribution industry and a working knowledge of thermal packaging dynamics is required.
The position requires a technical sales professional who is customer-centric and has a skill set for value added selling. Must have highly developed hunting sales skills, problem solving, decision making, communication and relationship building skills.
The position requires extensive overnight travel within assigned territory.
