About the Job
The primary focus will be on developing relationships with current and potential customers that result in long-term strategic growth for Morgan Olson through sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
These activities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Ability to demonstrate to customers how our products are beneficial to their needs.
- Identify opportunities to expand our product offerings to attract new customers.
- Work with customers to help identify ways to improve their fleet through additional products/services.
- Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.
- Identify and attract prospective strategic customers.
- Stay up to date with external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales.
- Negotiate pricing & contracts.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards.
- Stay up-to-date with external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales
- 60% travel across US and Canada
- Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
- Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of the commercial vehicle market and experience including, but not limited to the following:
- Prior experience with commercial vehicle sales or truck component sales.
- Business development experience in a B2B setting.
- Have strong CRM skills. Previous experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Strong interpersonal leadership and communication skills to facilitate cross-functional dialog at every level of both the Morgan Olson and customer organization.
- Participation in the development of sales strategy, marketing and presentation support material.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a college degree with a minimum of five years of responsibility in a successful sales and marketing organization within the Truck, or Body Building Industry. Be computer literate with significant knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. The candidate will be highly organized with the ability to perform with minimal direction/supervision.
