We are looking for a talented, competitive and highly qualified Business Development Manager that thrives in a fast paced sales environment to grow with us as a part of our education sales team. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, focusing on K-12 education sales. You must be comfortable building territory, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Outreach to new accounts through cold calling, email and phone campaigns
Develop and nurture existing accounts
Understand customer needs and requirements
Identify appropriate solutions based on customer needs analysis
Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Perform effective demos to prospects
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven sales experience
- Must have K-12 education sales experience
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field preferred
Track record of over-achieving quota
Proficient with corporate productivity tools
Experience working with CRM
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Note: This is a hybrid-remote position. Some travel to customer sites may be required.
