DrBalcony is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in the civil engineering sector. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand DrBalcony’s market presence and client base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations, effectively communicating the value of DrBalcony’s services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with project execution capabilities.
- Set and achieve sales targets and objectives in alignment with corporate goals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners to ensure favorable terms for the company.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent DrBalcony and foster relationships.
- Provide regular reports on business development progress and pipeline forecasts to the executive team.
- Perform competitor analysis and identify strategic partnerships to enhance DrBalcony’s offerings.
- Plan and monitor yearly marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with customer needs and company goals.
- Plan and participate in industry expos, conferences, and other customer-facing events to represent the company and engage with potential customers.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and building client relationships.
- Strong understanding of market trends and changes in the civil engineering sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to pursue business opportunities.
