We are seeking a proactive and motivated Business Development Representative - Lead Generation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities by engaging directly with potential advertising clients. Your goal will be to set up client meetings with Salem account executives and to learn the sales process with training provided.
Responsibilities:- Conduct Outreach Calls: Initiate and manage phone conversations with potential leads in a professional yet personable manner to introduce our company’s offerings.
- Engage Prospects: Build rapport with prospects by understanding their needs and identifying how our products or services can address their challenges.
- Communicate Value: Clearly articulate the benefits and unique value propositions of our solutions, using relevant examples and success stories.
- Offer Information: If a prospect is not immediately available, propose sending a concise follow-up email with detailed information for their review.
- Schedule Follow-Up Meetings: Identify and coordinate times for more in-depth discussions with interested prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Maintain Professionalism: Ensure all interactions are conducted with a high level of professionalism and respect, enhancing the prospect’s experience.
- Track Interactions: Document call outcomes and relevant details in CRM systems to support lead management and refine outreach strategies.
- Enjoys being on the phone and connecting with people
- Not afraid of rejection – this is a cold-calling job
- Desire to be in a sales environment, ideally in an advertising or media environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and desire/ability to build relationships over the phone.
- Ability to understand client needs and effectively coordinate meetings with account executives.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
