About the Job
This role involves outreach to the community to educate others about the Behavioral Health services we provide. This includes starting new relationships, cultivating existing ones, building a network, and maintaining high referral rates. This role works directly with the Admissions team and CEO.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact to all major local hospitals, doctor’s offices, substance abuse treatment centers, other mental health treatment centers, eating disorder treatment centers, etc. Often being on-site and interacting in-person to exchange materials and build potential partnerships.
- Expected to perform majority of work duties and be available during standard business hours (e.g. Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) although there may be times where work is required outside of standard business hours.
- Guide potential clients through the Admissions process, or help them find alternate placement when needed.
- Oversee efforts to expand lead generation through cold calling, B2B communication, and other methods to identify potential prospects and acquire new partnerships.
- Build relationships with existing customers through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates.
- Promote the company brand and mission.
- Study each service offered and be able to educate and inform potential clients and referral sources.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify improvements, modifications or changes that could enhance overall efficacy.
- Work directly with the Admissions Team on how to successfully educate on services, create a need, and provide superior customer support.
- Attend conferences as needed and network with potential referral sources.
- Coordinate trainings and clinical dinners for marketing and educational purposes.
- Track referrals and contacts in current CRM.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Exceptional public speaking and writing skills
- Understanding or experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorder fields
- Experience working with veterans and the VA is a plus
- Experience in Salesforce or other CRM preferred
- Ability to effectively coordinate programs, collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals and engage in time management practices so as to make efficient use of time

Compensation range for the Business Development Representative role is $65,000-80,000 per year.
