Position Summary:
The Business Development Representative I is an entry level inside sales position that will have the opportunity to qualify prospective clients, transition them to customer acquisition and acquire new accounts by receiving inbound leads and phone calls to meet their target sales monthly. This position will also respond to customer inquiries for information about the company's products and services and help to qualify potential sales prospects.
Essential Job Functions:
- Achieve monthly quota of Qualified Leads (demos, appointments) by receiving inbound calls and form completions from prospective clients every day
- Report and record all activities in Salesforce.com, a web-based CRM system, and qualify leads for sales development
- Accurate record sales and summarize interaction with customers
- Work pipeline of inbound leads to build a sales pipeline
- Prepare and qualify targeted prospect accounts / leads by using internal criteria
- Work pipeline to peak interest in learning more about Truckstop.com products and services
- Manage lead, opportunity, and development pipeline in SalesForce.com
- Ability to become well-informed about the industry and Truckstop.com's products and services

- Ability to adapt and be an early adopter of change

- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Ability to exhibit a high level of professionalism and a true desire to speak to prospective clients
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Proficient in using multiple software applications simultaneously
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and basic spreadsheets, with strong attention to detail
- Preferred: Experience in carrying and reaching a sales quota
- Preferred: Bilingual Spanish / English
Must be or become familiar with company products and navigate the company's programs and systems in a reasonable amount of time. Manage own time to meet department goals and deadlines. Maintain cooperative effective working relationships within the company. Exhibit passion, ethics, trust and commitment to an upstart team approach.

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for commission based on meeting monthly targets. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.
