About the role
The Business Development Representative's (BDR's) main focus is engaging with our prospective customers via our inbound channels to understand their goals, priorities and challenges and determining whether DataCamp's solutions can address those needs. Success in this role is highly dependent on your attention to detail, curiosity, consistency, and professional persistence.

Responsibilities
- Engage with inbound leads through personalized outreach across multiple channels, including chat, email, LinkedIn, and phone.
- Qualify leads by uncovering their goals, challenges, and urgency while demonstrating genuine curiosity and respect.
- Maintain a steady pipeline by creatively identifying new outreach strategies during slower inbound periods.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in Salesforce, keeping all lead and account information up-to-date.
- Stay informed on industry trends, DataCamp's product developments, and content updates to offer prospects relevant insights.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a corporate environment, ideally in software or ed-tech sales, is a plus.

Compensation
At DataCamp, we strive for market alignment and internal equity as a key part of our compensation approach. The base salary range for this role is $60,000- $70,000 USD; actual pay will be determined based on the individual's skills, experience, and location. Salary is one component of our total compensation package. This position also qualifies for:
- Equity (i.e., stock options).
