Knowledge & Experience
Successful completion of BS/BA degree in sales, marketing, business, engineering, or a relevant field.
3+ years’ experience in the construction industry, outdoor furniture industry, and/or related sales and marketing activities. Preference will be placed on individuals who have prior work experience with furniture solutions.
Candidates with professional training, industry certifications, and/or advanced degrees are preferred.
Demonstrates a deep working knowledge of the construction industry, furniture industry, lighting industry, and/or their channels to market.
Must have strong problem-solving skills, an analytical approach to all tasks, a critical-thinking mindset, and the ‘entrepreneurial spirit’.
Must be self-motivated and capable of handling a remote work environment.
Must have the capacity to learn and navigate software programs, digital systems, and business systems quickly.
Possesses the desire, capacity, and toolset necessary to drive continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
Promote and build the BEGA Furniture brand in your assigned territory.
Develop new sales opportunities, drive specification development, close sales, and increase local market share.
Nurture and maintain existing relationships while driving new customer acquisition.
Build trust and confidence with all relevant customers through world-class support and service. Customers are defined as, but not limited to, design entities (ex: landscape architects), construction entities (ex: general contractors, landscape contractors), furniture dealers, developers, and current BEGA sales partners (lighting representatives).
Provide local project management support from awareness and specification through installation and post- sales.

Position Dimensions
Required to be remotely located in the Western United States
Regular time in territory for your assigned territory will be necessary (up to 70%).
Regular travel outside assigned territory will be necessary (up to 20%).
Ability to lift and safely handle large-scale furniture samples.
Ability to safely drive a sprinter van.
