About the Job
Position Overview
The Sales Team Leader will be instrumental in positioning AdvanStaff HR as the market leader in
providing PEO services to businesses in Nevada. This role involves developing salespeople and
sales leaders into successful producers, enhancing our sales processes, and delivering
consistent sales results to support AdvanStaff HR in achieving its growth objectives.
Initially, the Sales Manager will lead our new industry sales team, which is dedicated to building
strong relationships and client bases within targeted industries. Our ultimate goal is to increase
sales by four to five times over the next four years.
Outcomes/Key Measures of Success
● Consistently Achieving Targeted New Business
Bringing in a steady stream of new business that aligns with our services is essential.
Success will be assessed through core revenue metrics, new client adoption rates, and
initial client satisfaction.
● Building and Developing a High-Performing Sales Team
Effectively recruiting, training, and cultivating a team of engaged and successful sales
professionals is key. This will be evaluated by the percentage of team members meeting
their quotas, as well as individual activity metrics, advancement rates, and closing ratios.
● Recruiting for the 2025 Sales Year
Actively seeking and onboarding additional team members for the 2025 sales year,
ensuring they are brought up to speed as quickly as possible.
● Maximizing Year-End Sales Efforts
Supporting your existing team in finishing 2024 strong by optimizing their sales efforts
throughout the calendar year.
● Enhancing Sales Strategies and Processes
Collaborating with your team and colleagues to refine our sales plays and processes for
greater effectiveness.
Responsibilities
● Field Engagement: Dedicate approximately 60% of your time in the field or on sales
calls, actively helping your team develop and close new clients while coaching them on
best practices in prospecting, qualifying, advancing, and closing deals.
● 1:1 Performance Reviews: Conduct thoughtful and thorough one-on-one meetings with
your salespeople to review their performance, discuss their sales pipeline, and provide
the coaching necessary for their success.
● Sales Forecasting and Planning: Provide regular forecasts for your team’s monthly
sales commitments and assist them in creating and executing plans to maximize sales
results.
● Administrative Support: Help alleviate your team’s administrative burden by assisting
with target selection, underwriting submissions, proposal development, and
implementation handoffs.

Other Requirements and Details
● Preferred to have 3+ years of PEO, HCM or related sales management experience.
