What the day will look like
As a New Business Analyst, you will be a contributing member of the US Commercial Risk & Health Sales and Marketing team. Not only will you help to operationalize a growth strategy and measure new business activities in the US Commercial Risk & Health businesses, but you will also directly collaborate with top leaders in the organization.
What will your day look like?
- Collaborate with local leaders to identify attractive new business initiatives to launch in the region
- Make your voice heard at sales meetings as you help develop prospect identification and client penetration strategies
- Showcase your analytical skills as you develop and share revenue, client acquisition activity and benchmarking reports to local leadership as a foundation for strategic goals
- Offer strategic mentorship and operational support to the US Retail Marketing team on lead generation and assignment, a sales funnel
- As an integral member of the sales team, research prospect and clients using analyst reports, SEC data, Yahoo! Finance and other sources to identify prospect- and client-specific risk profile information
- Play a role in strategic valuation, collateral development and implementation timelines
- Grow into the role of authority on Aon’s client management tool to provide orientation as well as in-depth training to new and established team members
- Prepare revenue and pipeline composition analytics in conjunction with US Finance for office sales meetings and monthly national forecast calls as well as quarterly assessments on sales efficiency
- Generate revenue analysis, including valuation of individual and team performance goals as well as sales and marketing statistics and communicate it across the team

- Operate as a hard-working self-starter who can prioritize multiple projects, follow-up and exhibit creative problem-solving skills, ultimately delivering projects and assignments on time and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work closely with various cross functional groups, specifically with the Director of Marketing, regional and local Sales Directors and office leads, as well as the sales and client management teams and Industry/Practice Leaders
- Revel in being a creative problem solver who bring innovative ideas, new points of view and a wealth of passion to the team
Skills to be successful in the role
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PPT, Word, etc.)
- Familiarity with sales and marketing systems such as Salesforce and Eloqua
- Hard-worker who can prioritize multiple projects -- delivering marketing materials on target and on time within a fast-paced environment preferred
- Minimum 2 years of research experience or formal trading
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience
Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 - $80,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
