Business Development Specialist - F McConnell and Sons

McConnell’s  Business Development Specialist inform and educate potential customers on our products and services and support our customers to achieve their business goals, with the maximum focus to acquire new businesses. This position will cover the State of Indiana and the candidate can be located anywhere in Indiana with ability to travel anywhere in Indiana.

What will you be doing?

• Will be responsible for completing hands on training
• Establish and maintain customer relationships
• Prospect new business through door to door sales and cold calling
• Identify market trends and provide updates to leadership
• Prepare and provide customer quotes in a timely manner 

Must Have:

• ​​Person with sales experience
• Passion for sales, and a drive to succeed
• Enthusiastic, persistent, and confident approach
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• A desire to be successful
• A hunter mentality with desire to sell
• Self-starter that can work independently and deliver results
• Analytical and good decision making skills
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
• Proven track records of achieving sales goals
• Ability to travel and cover assigned region
• Proven Results in acquiring new businesses
• 3-6 Years of Business Development Experience
• Convenience Store Sales experience
