Business Development Strategy Lead - Genesis Healthcare

The Strategy Specialist POD Leader oversees business development and strategy goals for an assigned territory called a POD and serves as the Strategy Lead in a nursing center. This individual provides support and guidance on processes and activities that can positively position nursing centers within the community and catalyze census growth. Position Highlights *Provides leadership support and supervision of all POD business development strategies. *Organizes nursing center sales and marketing resources around market dynamics, referral sources, decision-makers, and influencers. *Responsible and accountable for meeting and exceeding occupancy and census revenue goals. *Works with business development team members and nursing center leadership to continuously improve systems that directly impact occupancy. *Provides support, coaching and proactive management of the business development team members to enhance performance, encourages sister nursing facility collaboration, and offers talent development for all business development representatives. Master's degree in business administration, marketing, or health care management preferred. *Five to 7 years' experience in the healthcare industry required and regional healthcare market experience preferred. *Multi-facility management experience or health care product or service sales experience preferred. *Adept in using computer to document activities. *Must be flexible in scheduling priorities and able to travel as needed.
