Title: Business Director - North America Caustic SodaLocation: Houston, TX - Katy areaSalary: $167,000 - 217,000Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per weekRelocation Available Focus: The North America Business Director Caustic Soda is responsible for managing the P&L of the Caustic Soda portfolio (a $800 million revenue business). This role will execute the business strategy and all aspects related to the marketing and sales of Caustic Soda for Chlor Alkali Products including the business’ health, profitability and growth.Business Director Essential Job Functions:Leads the North America Caustic Marketing team Provides leadership and guidance to Olin on all matters related to the development and profitability of the Chlor Alkali Products and related businesses including pricing, forecasting, contract negotiations, contract maintenance, market research, market development and customer development.Develops and actively executes a Sales & Marketing strategy with the objective to increase product sales volumes and maintain or increase profitabilityDevelops and maintains promotional materials, sales aids, trade and market intelligence and territory analysisDevelops and maintains confidential presentations, market studies, competitive analyses, forecasts and research on growth/acquisition targets for Executive ManagementEducates, mentors, coaches and motivates the Sales Team on all things related to designated productContributes to customer development, new product development and monitors progress of specific project.Business Director Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree*; Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred. MBA preferred.15+ years of related work experience in the chemical industry.Strong understanding of business practices and applications.Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, ability to effectively deal with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally, while fostering a team environment.Ability to summarize and present data in a logical, meaningful and effective manner.Ability to travel up to 20%
