Business Information Architect (VA, Chantilly) - SAVVEE CONSULTING INC

Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Business Information Architect to develop and maintain information models that standardize the data concepts in support for our Veterans Health Administration (VHA) client, remotely. Candidates must be experienced with organizing data architecture, supporting enterprise consistency, and ensuring the integration of business and data processes which enable the VA mission and support the Enterprise Architecture (EA) program and Strategic Investment Management (SIM) office.

Essential Functions

• Develop and maintain business information models, including Conceptual Information Models (CIMs) and Logical Information Models (LIMs)
• Create and maintain Normalized Data Object (NDO) diagrams to ensure the reuse of data across business processes and promote consistent data handling across IT systems
• Collaborate with the requirements management team to ensure traceability of business requirements and data models, aligning them with processes and business architecture frameworks
• Create detailed Visio diagrams to model clinical and administrative processes, ensuring data object alignments with business needs and architectural frameworks
• Support the development and integration of business information models into VHA's Business Architecture Repository (BAR) to ensure consistency across enterprise data and architecture reporting systems
• Visually depict information requirements for projects/subject areas where data are well defined, and relationships are reflected
• Participate and lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) stakeholder sessions to capture data requirements and flows
• Support live model edits during SME meetings capturing updates displayed in real time through MS Teams with stakeholders
• Analyze business processes to document business information models
• Normalize data objects and trace between process and business information models
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
