About the role
Empower teams across Miaplaza to make data-driven decisions.
Guide teams in understanding what questions data can answer and how to leverage insights, making data accessible and actionable for all team members, regardless of their data background.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
Collaborate with software engineering to ensure necessary data is collected, processed, and accessible for analysis.
Foster a culture of self-service analytics by developing interim solutions, performing ad-hoc analyses, and building long-term data infrastructure that enables teams to access and utilize data independently.
Lead analytics projects, such as A/B tests, to optimize user experience and product offerings.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key metrics.
Facilitate data sharing and integration across departments, ensuring consistency and accessibility.
Build Tableau dashboards for teams to track productivity, quality, and other measures integral to the teams’ success.
Prepare and disseminate relevant reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Continuously improve BI solutions by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing updates to better serve business needs.
Optimize the performance of reports, dashboards, and queries to ensure they run efficiently and provide timely insights.
Design and maintain data models and database structures to support efficient reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through the development of data quality checks and governance policies.
Design and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is accurately extracted from various sources, transformed to fit reporting needs, and loaded into the appropriate databases or data warehouses.

- Competitive compensation: $80k - $110k (higher salaries possible for exceptional candidates)
Although this is a fully remote position and you have the flexibility to work from anywhere, it's essential to be prepared to have significant overlap with standard working hours in the Pacific time zone, as most of our analyst team is based there. Outside of this core overlap period, you have complete flexibility in determining your work schedule.
Must Haves:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience (at least 2 years) working in Data Analytics, with a preferred focus on marketing analytics. Please note that this experience must be in a working environment and does not include time spent in your studies.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with data visualization.
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to independently analyze complex data sets, draw meaningful insights, and make data-driven recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically and strategically.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Nice to Haves:
- Marketing Analytics: Experience with marketing performance metrics, campaign analysis, customer segmentation, and ROI evaluation.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques for measuring and optimizing marketing effectiveness.
- Proficiency in Tableau, including experience with dashboard creation, data visualization, and report generation.
