Business Intelligence Analyst - Piper Companies

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join one of the nation’s largest premier credit unions based in Mclean, VA. The BI Analyst will work closely with BI Developers and the channel manager to extract and manipulate data, design dashboards, and support enhancements and maintenance of these data solutions. This position will be hybrid in Mclean, VA!

Responsibilities of the BI Analyst include:

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, including data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data insights and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for the BI Analyst include:                                                                                            

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis and related areas, including trend analysis, extracting actionable insights, and supporting decision-making with data.
• Experience in a field related to Consumer Banking products, including auto loans, personal loans, student loans, and credit cards.
• Extensive and proven data analytical skills.
• Hands-on skills in Tableau, SQL, and working with large datasets.
• Experience with R, Python, and Snowflake is a plus.
• Expertise in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely.
• Extensive experience in demonstrating initiative-taking, decision-making, and creativity in solving business problems
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, finance, engineering, computer sciences, or a related field.

Compensation for the BI Analyst includes:

• Salary: $135,000 – $145,000 -- $65/hr - $67/hr
