Overview
BRMi is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst
The role supports a large CFO Act federal agency within their Office of the Chief Information Officer. The Directorate supports a range of business functions including enterprise IT governance, the planning, programming, budgeting and execution process, and the implementation of federal IT policies.
The Business Analyst will support multiple client initiatives and engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders for matters related to the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA), IT Investment data, and data analytics. They will work within a team either in collaboration with colleagues or independently providing direct support to clients. Day-to-day tasks will vary depending on client needs.
Can be 100% remote in TX, NJ, NC, WV, AL, VA, MD, MO, DC, GA, or FL
Responsibilities
+ Engage mid-level to senior stakeholders throughout a large, federated agency
+ Develop and deliver persuasive presentations to communicate complex ideas and obtain buy-in for follow-on approaches
+ Work with a variety of professionals, from law enforcement to administration to high-level leadership
+ Explain challenging concepts in simple terms to a variety of audiences
+ Analyze, interpret and apply records policy to different contents
+ Create training/educational materials for specific stakeholders and agency as a whole
+ Maintain project tracker/execute project plan
+ Manage tasks independently and escalate risks/issues when needed
+ Define and map new and existing business processes
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ U.S. Citizenship
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 3+ years of related experience
+ Experience in managing enterprise data, or sensitive data
+ Experience working within the federal sector
+ Proven experience in tangible delivery success
+ Prior hands-on experience with data management, information governance, and policy development
+ Prior hands-on experience with process mapping and process optimization
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proven ability to develop effective and visually appealing executive briefings
+ Ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including GS 12 through SES level
+ Excellent capability in development of executive briefings, strategic recommendations, and roadmaps
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite
Desired Requirements
+ Experience in the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) (strongly desired)
+ SharePoint experience
+ Strong presentation skills
