Business Intelligence and Report Developer - Turning Point Global Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with relevant expertise in architecting, developing, and maintaining a suite of complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations using COTS BI tools such as Graphana and Cloud native BI products working in a cloud environment. The BI Developer architects and designs foundational elements for data and reports such as attributes, metrics, hierarchies, and transformations to develop report objects such as interactive dashboards and other operational reports. S/he assists with the data analysis, data discovery, and data modeling activities. S/he will be an active contributor within an Agile sprint team and needs to be productive with little supervision and a team player.

•Design schema objects such as attributes, facts, and filters using Grafana, or similar tools based on the data analysis,

•Develop reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations based on customer requirements applying UI/UX and HCD best practices.

•Design and develop dashboards and reports and maintain them with a timely data refresh process to support continuous operations.

•Work closely with other developers to test and validate reports, and dashboards, which are in O&M

•Work closely with data modelers and ETL developers to develop, review, and maintain SQL code and SQL scripts.

•Engage with the Cloud Architect, Shared Systems contractors, and other key stakeholders to develop and deploy BI innovations to enhance operations and derive performance and cost savings.

•Perform tuning of reports and underlying SQL queries periodically.

•Conduct product demonstrations and assist with the creation, update, and maintenance of training materials.

•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

•4+ years of experience as a BI and Report Developer.

•Expertise in Graphana or similar Cloud-native BI tools to develop reports and dashboards.

•Experience working within a BI environment inside the AWS Cloud is preferred.

•Tableau and/or PowerBI experience preferred

•Self-managed with the ability to complete tasks with little supervision.

•Understanding of Section 508 standards and ability to test for them.

•Experience working in an Agile environment.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot application issues.

•Ability to interact with clients and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

•Previous experience with SAFe agile principles including JIRA .

•Strong oral and written communication skills.

•Strong analytical problem-solving ability.

•Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•Agile certification

•Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

•Prior experience with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or other Govt agencies is a plus

•Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.

•Must be able to pass background investigations and obtain Public Trust clearance.

•Agile certification.

•Familiarity with AWS hosting environments and Angular-based UI testing is a plus.

•Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect and task-tracking tools
