Our client is a senior living community located in Walnut Creek, CA. They are seeking a Business Office Coordinator to ensure the efficient operation of administrative and financial functions within the facility.
Job Description:
The Business Office Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative and financial tasks that support the smooth running of a senior living facility. This role involves handling billing, vendor relations, payroll, and HR support, while acting as a liaison between residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage resident billing, mail distribution, and communications with residents and their representatives.
- Process vendor invoices and submit reports to the corporate office.
- Coordinate timekeeping and payroll processing, ensuring accurate timesheet collection and data entry.
- Maintain employee benefit preferences and serve as the point of contact for residents and employees.
- Manage office supplies and oversee administrative tasks.
- Assist with audits and regulatory reviews as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a senior living, healthcare, or long-term care environment is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or business office role.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in UKG & ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and human resources processes.
