The Heights Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking to hire for an Business Office Manager to join alongside our team of excellent caregiver
Position Overview:
The Business Office Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business office and overall financial health of the facility. This individual will oversee billing, accounts receivable, human resources functions, and other administrative duties, while working closely with the leadership team to maintain compliance and improve operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing and Accounts Receivable: Oversee and ensure accurate and timely billing of services, collections, and follow-up on outstanding accounts.
- Financial Management: Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis of facility expenditures.
- Human Resources Support: Manage employee payroll, benefits administration, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures related to financial and administrative operations.
- Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for families, residents, and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries and other office-related issues.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely payment and contractual compliance.
- Administrative Support: Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and preparing reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a business office management role, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting software or billing systems; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare billing procedures (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance) and long-term care regulations.
- Attributes: Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently. Must be detail-oriented, with a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality.
