We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Office Manager to join our team and help us continue to deliver the highest quality of care.
Position Overview:
The Business Office Manager will oversee the administrative and financial functions of our long-term care facility. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, managing office staff, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence in customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the business office, including overseeing office staff and coordinating office activities.
- Handle billing, collections, and accounts receivable/payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain and update resident records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit reports related to financial performance, budgets, and other key metrics.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, government agencies, and other third parties regarding resident care and billing.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.
- Support recruitment, training, and performance management of office staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a business office management role, preferably within a long-term care or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing processes, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to long-term care facilities is a plus.
