Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager with hands-on expertise in managing large teams and overseeing complex operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to lead at a management level, executing strategic plans, driving operational efficiency, and achieving measurable results. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, developing operational standards, and using data-driven insights to optimize processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive operational efficiency and achieve departmental objectives. Lead large-scale operations, ensuring all activities are aligned with the company’s goals and KPIs. - Team Leadership & Development:
Supervise and mentor a large team, fostering a high-performance culture. Communicate job expectations, monitor progress, and provide ongoing coaching and development. Create personal growth opportunities for staff and manage talent within the department. - Complex Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that large-scale and complex processes are streamlined for efficiency. Manage centralized intake activities, collaborate with unit managers, and expand the use of technology in support of operations. - Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring:
Use data analysis to monitor operational performance, identify trends, and implement data-driven decisions. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess departmental success and drive continuous improvement. - Quality Control & Standards:
Develop and enforce practice standards, policies, and monitoring systems to ensure quality control. Maintain quality service by analyzing and resolving quality issues and recommending system enhancements. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including unit managers and practice leaders, to ensure seamless integration of processes and initiatives. - Client Engagement & Issue Resolution:
Serve as the escalation point for client issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions. Engage with clients at risk of leaving the firm and work to retain them through relationship management and service recovery efforts. - Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all operations comply with legal, safety, and organizational standards. Enforce a safe, secure, and legally compliant work environment.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field required. Master’s degree is a plus. - Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in operations management, with proven hands-on experience managing large teams and overseeing complex operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning, execute large-scale projects, and drive results.
- Expertise in data analysis, with the ability to use data to guide decision-making and improve operational performance.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience leading large teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problem-solving, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and operations management software.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
Working Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM ET – 5:30 PM ET
- Occasional weekend trainings, with 30-day notice for in-person attendance.
Compensation
- Salary: $90,000 – $135,000 per year (Depending on experience).
