About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Business Operations Specialist / Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our Global Marketing Strategy & Operations team. In this role, you will support the Global Marketing team by maintaining budgets, organizing planning, and collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels. You will manage marketing operating expenses, communicate their statuses, solicit feedback to ensure commitment to plans, and ensure understanding of our goals, risks, and opportunities with the budget. You will be responsive and committed to improving operational efficiencies across the team. Proficiency with spreadsheets and the ability to communicate analysis and processes to stakeholders unfamiliar with budget operations is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Global Marketing and Finance & Strategy teams to manage budgets, inform investment strategy, and improve budget tracking, prioritization, and measurement.
- Reconcile spend data and reporting to ensure data integrity across the organization.
- Manage billing transactions, vendor communications, and month-end close in coordination with Accounting.
- Support the marketing planning process, including monthly and quarterly budget transfers, variance analysis, and risk mitigation planning.
- Manage all aspects of budget forecasting and planning infrastructure via third-party software tools.
- Onboard key vendors and partners and facilitate relationships with Procurement on behalf of the Marketing team.
Qualifications:
- Expertise with Google Sheets or Excel.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud and/or Hyperion is a plus.
- Experience partnering with Accounting and Finance teams and managing budgets.
- Strong desire to connect with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the Marketing organization.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in an operational role, ideally in Operations, Finance, and/or Marketing Programs.
