Position Summary
The Business Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of operations specialists and analysts. The role provides guidance. The Underwriting Operations Supervisor supports the operations underwriting team by assisting in optimization of operational workflows and processes within the organization. Good organizational skills, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft office required. Prior experience with IMS or C1 is preferred.

The target salary range for this position is $71,225.00 - $80,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits. Job Description:
- Oversee and maintain procedures of operations team
- Facilitate procedural updates impacting broader teams
- Create and deliver various reporting to executive team
- Assist in innovation of procedures ensuring consistency and alignment with overall strategy
- Train and communicate processes to operations teams
- 5+ years of insurance experience
- Prior underwriting or operations experience with a carrier, MGA or wholesale broker
- Experience in Property Excess and Surplus Lines
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently to identify issues, create solutions and communicate effectively to operations teams
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to provide accurate & detailed reporting
- Organized and deadline oriented
- Able to balance multiple/changing tasks or projects
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment:
- $75,000 - $80,000
