Our Department of State client is in need of a business process analyst to overhaul and improve the
current Data Center Service catalog by conducting an ITSM assessment and updating the DC services
listed in the service catalog and supporting service artifacts. At times, this resource will be asked to
develop dashboards and assist in managing, organizing, and analyzing program data in the categories of
people, pricing, operational trends, procurement, etc.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Possess a solid knowledge and understanding of ITSM or ITIL principles
A working knowledge and background in Data Center technologies: Windows Server deployments
and management, Server Virtualization (VMWare vSphere), Enterprise Storage and Data Center
Networking
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for business analysis and processes pertaining to the data
centers' operations and knowledge of commercial data center business operations
Apply, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, operational flow analysis, internal control and risk
analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques
Support efforts to establish standards for information systems procedures
Develop dashboards to clearly and effectively communicate data insights
Construct sound, logical business improvement opportunities consistent with Information
Management guiding principles, cost savings, and open system architecture objectives
Provide group facilitation, interviewing, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer
Have an understanding and experience with large, complex IT projects and organizations; analyze
information from multiple sources to compile a complete, holistic solution within their areas of
expertise; and easily communicate those recommendations and issues to high-level executives to
influence decisions that support the organization's overall strategic plan
