Job Description:
We are seeking two experienced Senior Business Systems Analysts to join our team, working on an exciting project to enhance a complex provider system within the healthcare industry. As a Senior BSA, you will play a critical role in defining, managing, and delivering new functionalities to improve system performance and usability across multiple workstreams. This role requires a strong background in healthcare systems, preferably with provider systems experience, as well as robust skills in requirements gathering, documentation, scope management, and front-end prototyping.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements for complex healthcare provider system enhancements.
• Create comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD) by year-end, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder needs.
• Develop Technical Requirements Documents (TRD) based on BRDs, capturing all technical changes and requirements.
• Conduct front-end prototyping using tools such as Visio or similar software to help visualize and communicate proposed solutions.
• Act as a project lead through all stages of development, testing, and deployment, ensuring successful project delivery within defined scope.
• Manage scope effectively to prevent scope creep, working closely with stakeholders to maintain a clear and achievable project plan.
• Execute moderate SQL queries to support data analysis and requirements validation, going beyond running pre-made scripts to obtain necessary insights.
• Review and validate project scope documents, diving deep into specific functions to ensure alignment with technical and business goals.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a strong focus on healthcare systems (provider systems experience preferred).
• Proven experience in creating BRDs and TRDs, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Demonstrated skills in front-end prototyping (Visio or similar tools) to communicate requirements effectively.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write queries and analyze data for requirements validation.
• Experience in scope management and preventing scope creep in large, complex projects.
• Ability to guide projects through development, testing, and deployment, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote team members, with some onsite presence required for onboarding.
Work Environment:
• Remote-friendly role with flexibility, though candidates must be willing to attend onsite for equipment pickup or as needed.
• You will work with a fully remote team and should be comfortable managing communication and collaboration in a remote/hybrid setup.
