A Typical Day
Manage, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of the business analyst team who own the requirements, elicitation, effort-estimate scoping, design, analysis, and functional specification development activities for complex projects and or programs. Work closely with clients, team members and other stakeholders and support project and change management lifecycle. Plan, direct, and coordinate the business-analysis aspects of information technology projects, including on-going production support and training. Review and approve business analysis related documentation including requirements, current and future state processes and workflows, report specifications and others. Review and approve test plans and test cases and perform system testing. Plan and execute user acceptance testing and obtain user sign-off. Develop and maintain solid partnerships with project managers, business and IT leads, and other key stakeholders. Manage and train business systems analysts in all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to closing, to ensure that the technical solution meets business needs. Support the initiation and planning of the project, including facilitating the definition of objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring the project is set up for success. Collaborate with business and information technology stakeholders facilitating the selection of solution alternatives for implementation. Suggest and implement recommendations on efficiency improvements where applicable. Assist business stakeholders in operational readiness activities, including impact analysis and documentation of process changes. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Position also manages five (5) employees.
What You’ll Bring
+ Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Analyst, or related role. Experience must include understanding, translating, and documenting complex business requirements used to design, develop, and implement effective and efficient technology solutions; testing, reporting, and maintenance using SQL; Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Rational Enterprise Suite and MS Visio project management tools; and system testing using Rational Requisite Pro and HP Quality Centre.

+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
