About the Job
Our Client, an Utility and Energy Generation and Distribution Company, is looking for Business Systems Analyst 1 for their Sabinsville, PA location
Responsibilities:
- 80% of time will be split between Maximo & OFS, 15% in Excel and 5% is other. SQL in this case can be just a basic knowledge of relational database queries. Azure DevOps, commonly known as ADO is the platform being used for bug tracking, not a necessary skill in this case but certainly a helpful one if applicants have experience on the platform.
- Customers are all internal Client colleagues. For a numbers breakdown lets say a total of 100 with half being 1 time interactions, 25 being 1/month and the other 25 1 interaction every 2 weeks. I would expect an applicants to have either an Associates or higher degree in a relevant technical/business area of study or 5+ years relevant experience in maintenance management or data systems (preferred).
- A typical day will involve a team meeting where we discuss current issues, lessons learned, etc. Remainder of the day will involve customer issue resolution, training sessions as a learner, and project meetings. Issues will come from other team members or directly from customers.
Requirements
- The Client has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst 1 with the Compression Services Data System Team. The successful candidate will work in a customer facing role primarily supporting the maintenance management and work order application systems.
- Knowledge of related applications and databases
- Strong computer skills.
- Demonstrated competency in logical and analytical thinking.
- Ability to perform in-depth data analysis.
- Conceptual thinking and reasoning abilities.
- Ability to collect accurate data, analyze problems, and develop solutions
- 0-2+ years directly related experience.
- Staffed by beginners who have a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- Demonstrated competency in verbal communications, written communications, and interpersonal understanding.
- Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust.
- Ability to establish and maintain confidence in the Information Technology's teams' knowledge of, and concern for, the customer's business needs.
- Ability to manage work and perform varied duties simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze problems and think logically.
- Self-starter.
