About the Job
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Analysts for various projects, focusing on serving our Banking/Financial services clients. The ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge and experience in payments systems, retail banking, commercial banking, wealth banking, and related compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs for banking clients.
Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of financial services and banking solutions.
Liaise between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and effective project delivery.
Stay abreast of trends and regulations in the Canadian and US banking sectors, incorporating this knowledge into system designs and recommendations.
Assess and optimize banking processes and workflows for efficiency and compliance.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant banking regulations and standards.
Provide detailed reports and presentations to management on project status, risks, and proposed solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of Canadian and US payment systems, retail banking, commercial banking, and wealth banking.
Familiarity with banking compliance and regulatory standards in Canada and the United States.
Proficient in business analysis methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
Experience with financial& systems.
Previous experience working in a multinational financial institution.
