Business Systems Analyst / QA Specialist
Our consultancy is looking for highly motivated and talented Business Systems Analysts / QA Specialists. We are looking for peak performers who have a passion for business, a joy in solving problems and a work ethic that doesn't rest until the job is done.
This is an entry-level position. Ideal candidates would possess 3-5 years of business systems analysis / quality analysis experience with an emphasis on CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and some QA/testing experience. Additionally, candidates should possess critical thinking and leadership skills, including experience with implementation projects. This person should have the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, superior oral and written communication skills, a client service focus, as well as the ability to develop recommendations and implement complex solutions in a fast-paced environment. Experience in an insurance environment would be helpful. This position is fully remote.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is 100% remote. The position is full time and will include a base salary range of $80K-$90K, based on candidates experience, and full benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, vacation, and 401(k) with company match.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creation of presentations and reports for clients based upon analysis findings including recommendations for short- and long-term improvement.
- Review of subjective and objective operational information through a process of management interviews.
- Facilitate client workshops and interviews to better understand, define and document requirements.
- Write user stories and use cases to document the requirements uncovered during workshops and interviews with clients.
- Analysis of client financial and operational data.
- Work with client to perform business process modeling activities to help operationally focused software implementations.
- Work on new software implementation projects related to policy admin implementations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Previous BA experience, including requirements gathering and documentation.
- QA testing experience.
- CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Familiarity with insurance terminology and concepts.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Process modeling with an eye toward identifying potential operational improvements.
- Strong facilitation skills, and solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Agile and Waterfall experience preferred.
- Strong Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong Excel skills, including familiarity working with a large dataset and getting useful insights out of it.
- Strong relationship building between internal customers, vendors and employees.
- Client-facing experience.
- Any insurance certificates (AU, CPCU), preferred.
- Experience working in the insurance industry preferred.
