About the Job
Supervisor for a team of Business Systems Administrators. Lead business line IT projects and business systems for the area(s) the team supports. Work close with business line leaders to set project priorities. Perform system updates, testing/coordinating new feature rollouts, and identifying new opportunities within the application to meet Credit Union growth and strategic goals.
Responsibilities:- Supervise assigned staff, including scheduling; assigning and directing work; orienting new employees; overseeing or conducting training; coaching; completing team responsibility for evaluating and appraising work; addressing complaints and resolving problems taking disciplinary action; and ensuring quality of work.
- Determines appropriate support for each software system.
- Work close with Business Line leaders to set priorities and manage their IT projects.
- Support implementation of a new systems including data migration.
- Effectively and quickly resolve day-to-day system issues working with team members and 3rd party vendors.
- Implementation of new releases of the software, including impact analysis, regression testing, scheduling, and change management. Support change rollout to production, test, training and development environments.
- System configuration and maintenance activities of multiple systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues as reported by end users.
- Develops and maintains policies and procedures including documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications.
- Mapping and documenting interfaces between systems.
- Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met.
- Planning and working flexibly to meet deadlines.
- Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments.
- Support implementation of new systems including data migration.
- Adhere to change control policy and procedures
- Ensure that security controls are in place and functioning in relation to systems that are under your area of responsibility.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business (or related field) required. 2+ years’ experience with business relevant systems, preferred. 1 year’s supervisor and/or management experience, preferred. Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Demonstrate the ability to manage projects and lead project teams. Ability to prioritize, meets deadlines, and manages changing priorities with limited direction.

Broad knowledge of hardware, software, and programs. Ability to learn quickly, contribute to a team effort and work on multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously. Logical, process-oriented thinker with a natural sense of urgency. Ability to lead complex IT projects. Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
- Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
- Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
