About the Job
This individual will supervise a team of Business Analysts responsible for system management, collaboration with product owners and change review oversight/testing, and data analytics. The Business Systems Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing team's deliverables and individual team member's professional development. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading regular in-service training for the team, presenting to Senior project leadership and the client, quickly learning all business systems, and be able to troubleshoot issues and systems impacting the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Screen, investigate, analyze, identify and manage service level risks related to users reported issues via Cherwell tickets; notify management and, where appropriate, propose solutions.
- Hire, train and support a team of Admin Support Coordinators including ongoing performance management; feedback, conducting quarterly and annual evaluations and staff development.
- Monitor team achievement toward performance goals and objectives for unit staff.
- Provide direction to team members and resolves problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Train others in the use of Cherwell tickets, HR termination database, JIRA platform and additional applications in use for reporting , tracking and monitoring, and advise on needed enhancements or updates to the platform.
- Participate in project meetings to represent MAXIMUS in addressing needs of the client and other project stakeholders, as well taking a leadership role for internal project meetings.
- Assist leadership in the areas of systems and data auditing tracking, reporting, business process modeling and redesign, knowledge management software systems, business intelligence, impact analysis, change management, and state/federal policy analysis.
- Review and verify user story documents to validate that the design meets business needs in support of the operation. Support and actively contribute to the elaboration and execution of the various test strategies applicable to the systems projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of supervisory/management preferred

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
