RESPEC seeks a Business Value Consultant to support the Commercial Services Division of our Data and Technology Solutions Business Unit in our Richardson, TX office.

Job DescriptionBusiness Value Consultants assists our clients to define and understand their specific business challenges, and to help define the desired business outcomes that are the results of well-designed business processes. This position will liaise with roles across all DTS Programs including Billing, Advisory, Custom Development, and other areas as needed. To ensure success as a RESPEC Business Value Consultant, candidates have in-depth analysis and presentation skills with the ability to think dynamically about client problems and solutions. Qualified candidates must possess excellent client relationship skills, experience with financial systems and terminology, and business process design skills.
- Works collaboratively across all teams at RESPEC, with emphasis on DTS, to understand and articulate the business value delivered by RESPEC solutions and consulting services.
- Analyzes customer objectives, including financial goals, CSAT goals, revenue growth goals, and other business drivers.
- Applies knowledge of business process design and improvement tools to present the impact of process and technology change to clients.
- Actively works with RESPEC delivery teams when needed to ensure successful delivery and to effectively mitigate delivery risks and resolve client conflicts.
- Utilizes the library of Business Value assets as needed to reach stated customer outcomes.
- Engages in collaborative relationships with external partners to present their solutions professionally and knowledgably.
- Partners with internal key stake holders to work ACROSS the organization and demonstrate how Business Value can influence engineering sciences.
- Engages directly with clients to ensure overall project satisfaction.
- Willingness and ability to travel 25-50%
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with business-process design and improvement. Examples include SIPOC, DMAIC, Process Mapping, Value Stream Mapping.
- Six Sigma certification a plus
- Knowledge of billing operations, finance, FP&A with related data analytics is a plus
- Proven acumen in business administration, finance, accounting or similar
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to write effective, concise reports for clients and RESPEC management.

- Strong project management and resource management skills
- Comfortable in driving results, while dealing with and managing ambiguity

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
