YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)
The Busser/Runner will play an important role to support the food and beverage operation of the Kitchen at Commons Club through timely running of food and beverages, engage in polite, responsive, and timely interaction with guests and coworkers including basic menu descriptions, in addition to other responsibilities as directed by server or supervisor while maintaining a positive attitude that contributes to the team environment.

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)
* Ensure that items are fully stocked, and equipment is in good working condition
* Strong knowledge and consistent use of SNHD regulations and standards
* Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team
* Consistently maintains clean and safe work area for self and other team members
* Participate in seamless operation between BOH + FOH staff members ensuring proper service to our guests
* Perform to high standards of excellence, execution, and cleanliness
* Always keep your active SNHD Food Handler's card with you while on property
* Execute proper health and safety protocols while operating equipment, handling food, storing food, maintaining temperature & time control logs, and sanitizing as dictated by the SNHD
* Report health and safety incidents and concerns directly to leadership in an accurate and timely manner
* Contribute to successful SNHD health inspections
* Monitor and ensure cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and floor
* Perform customer service duties as assigned (such as beverage and plate service)
* Communicate with cashier and servers for needs and any guest service issues
* Actively participate in all scheduled required training sessions
* Support server by running food and drinks as instructed by teammates including culinary, server, bartender, supervisor, etc.
* Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized work environment including stocking of supplies, polishing cutlery/glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables, etc.
* Clear tables, carry plates to dishwashing area
* Execute fabulous guest service
* Prepare basic, non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, water, iced tea, etc.
* Explain basic details of food dishes and beverages at time of delivery to guests

MUST HAVE'S
* Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
* High school or equivalent education required
* Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification that is currently valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
* Preferred: 1-2 years' experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge
WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S
* Must enjoy being around and working with people
* Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as all state and federal laws
* Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
* Adhere to hotel policies including but not limited to attendance, safety, and behavior
THE WORKING CONDITIONS
* Lift and carry 50 lbs., carry and balance plates, carry kegs, wine and beer cases as necessary
* Stand for periods of 8-10 hours
* Communicate clearly in verbal and written English
* Bend, squat and stretch in areas of limited space to perform cleaning, organization, and other duties
* Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, smoke, and sound. Incumbents are at times subject to hazards such as chemicals; proper safety precautions will be taken. This position occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather Proper clothing is provided.
