Proximo - Immediate Busser / Support / Server Assistant Needed

Join Proximo, a Spanish tapas and wine bar, located in downtown Chapel Hill. As a Busser / Support / Server Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting in delivering delicious food and drinks inspired by the tavernas and tapas bars of Spain.
Responsibilities:
- Support servers in delivering exceptional guest service
- Greet guest with grace and offer water immediately upon arrival
- Clear and reset tables precisely
- Polish glassware and silverware
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Exhibit proper dining room and kitchen etiquette
- Maintain our high food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
- Strong communication skills required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant required
- Weekend availability required
- Some holiday availability preferred
- Ability to work on you feet for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to lift 25 pounds onto high shelves
- No specific education required
- Passion for the food & beverage industry

Location: Chapel Hill East Franklin Street
Próximo, a Spanish tapas and wine bar, is inspired by the tavernas and tapas bars of San Sebastian and Logrono, Spain. The casual, vibrant and dynamic feel of those restaurants felt just right for the cozy space on East Franklin Street.
Owned by Brandon and Elizabeth Sharp (who also have Hawthorne & Wood, a fine dining restaurant and bar, and Bluebird, a French bistro, both located in Chapel Hill), Proximo will be their first business in downtown Chapel Hill.
Proximo's General Manager is El Faust. Neal Benefield will oversee the restaurant as Director of Operations.
