About the Job
Currently seeking a Buyer for a direct hire opportunity. Will be working with a team of buyers who support a facility's purchasing activities within a cross functional manufacturing product focused team. Will be responsible for obtaining pricing for proposals, purchase order placement, obtaining order confirmation and other purchasing related activities.
2 to 4 years of previous buying experience
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, engineering or business preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable.
Knowledge of Industrial equipment preferred.
Knowledge of MRP processes in support of manufacturing.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
Understanding of procurement process including vendor selection and order placement.
Commercial and Technical knowledge to conduct offer evaluations is desired.
Experience with international suppliers is a plus.
Good with data, spreadsheets and data analysis.
