About the Job
Travel: Moderate travel required, including to stores in and outside of Kinney markets and attendance at various corporate and industry conferences required.
Scope of Responsibilities: Manages the Warehouse inventory levels for assigned product areas to ensure a balance between store service levels and inventory investment. Assists in the training and development of fellow staff. This includes assigning work, meeting completion dates, and interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining smooth inventory flow that enables Kinney to meet its sales, profitability and customer service goals. Keeps the Warehouse replenished at the appropriate level to allow us to meet or exceed warehouse service level and turn objectives. Provides Supply Chain Team reporting and manages projects related to inventory and record keeping.

Responsibilities:Job Duties:
- Responsible for managing inventory levels within dept parameters/goals for the Distribution Center in the areas assigned.
- Recommends, develops, and initiates new processes and reporting tools to improve productivity and reliability.
- Coordinates with Suppliers to optimize effectiveness and profitability.
- Maintains open communications with Category Manager partners and other internal customers.
- Coordinates activities with external partners. This includes working with Alternative Source vendors and working to integrate VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) and CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) initiatives.
- Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards for performance of departmental duties.
- Performs comprehensive analytics to report on inventory effectiveness at both the corporate and store level. Supports both Store and DC Replenishment with detailed analytics to identify and resolve issues and inefficiencies.
- Assist in Vendor reviews.
- Manage small and large projects related to process improvements with inventory management and record keeping.
- Provides reporting related to inventory and supply chain effectiveness.
- Utilize technical analytical tools such as MicroStrategy, Sequel Viewpoint, and Nielsen market data. Train and develop others on the Supply Chain Team.
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Required:
- Strong computer skills, systems aptitude, and experience
- Demonstrated analytical ability and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of retail merchandising, store operations and distribution
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of Office Products
- Ability to learn and implement new computer software applications
Education:
- Preferred: BA/BS Degree or higher in Marketing or related field
Experience:
- Required: 2 years’ experience in drug store retail
- Required: 2 years’ experience in buying
- Preferred: Proficiency with MicroStrategy, Sequel Viewpoint
- Preferred: 2 years’ experience in Store Management

Compensation:
$58,500-$62,000 Annual
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
