Position: Purchasing Specialist/Buyer
Location: Portland/Beaverton, OR

Salary: $70k - $90k annually, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
·Forecast, plan, and procure inventory to align with customer demand while maximizing cost efficiency, quality, and delivery.
·Negotiate and oversee vendor contracts, ensuring adherence to all terms and conditions.
·Evaluate product trends and turnover rates to uncover areas for improvement.
·Work closely with sales teams to create and propose vendor programs that boost profitability.
·Maintain inventory levels and order inventory from designated vendors.
·Analyze sales data to pinpoint slow-moving items and devise exit strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
·Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
·Experience in procurement or purchasing, particularly in ecommerce, or retail sectors.
·Proficient in negotiation and data analysis.
·Skilled in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
·Strong communication abilities and capable of managing tasks autonomously.
