Job Details
- Lead supplier negotiations to achieve cost reductions in specific hospital spend categories.
- Serve as the primary procurement contact for various hospital departments.
- Coordinate requisitions and manage purchase orders to support organizational buying needs.
- Develop and apply cost models to support procurement strategies.
- Utilize multiple information systems and data exchanges for procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in procurement and cost reduction, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Associate's Degree in Business or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification through ISM or AHRMM within 1 year of hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
