Based in Cranston, Rhode Island, Met-Cap Management, LLC is the heartbeat to a variety of owned and operated businesses. From a chain of successful, multi-branded adult retail stores, to two bi-coastal B2B and D2C global distribution and fulfillment centers, to the creation and go-to-market strategies for a host of proprietary brands, and property management.
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team, with a strong preference for those who have experience in lingerie and apparel. This role involves sourcing and curating products that align with our mission, enhancing customer experiences and satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of customer preferences and market trends within the sexual wellness space.
Essential Functions:
- Identify, select, and purchase lingerie and apparel that complement our product lines.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating the best terms for cost, quality, and timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory, sales performance, and trends to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure the product offering aligns with brand objectives and promotions.
- Stay current on trends in lingerie, apparel, and sexual wellness to maintain a competitive edge.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of buying experience, preferably in lingerie, apparel, or sexual wellness.
- Strong vendor negotiation skills and experience building long-term supplier relationships.
- Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and adjust purchasing strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for contributing to a positive, inclusive customer experience.
