Job Description
We are seeking a C# .NET Developer with strong MS SQL Skills. This role focuses on leading and collaborating on the development and maintenance of systems to support server operating system, component level security patching, and SDLC quality metrics.
The candidate must be a confident self-starter and be able to work well both independently and in a team environment. Proven written and verbal communication skills are important. Successful candidate have ability to manage workload in a fast-paced and a rapidly changing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Application design based on user requirements
Analyze highly complex business requirements, design and create written technical specifications for new and changes to existing computer platforms and applications
Develop complex application code
Support systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production
Technical Skills
5+ years of software development experience developing web applications and web services
Perl
C# Web Development in the .NET MVC Framework
2+ years of MS SQL Development
Development of statistical metrics and reporting
Proven experience in the following technical skills is a plus:
Javascript
JQuery
Team Foundation Server
C# Web Development in the .NET MVC Framework
Additional Skills
Strong Written Communication including analytic and technical documentation skills.
Extensive experience in all phases of SDLC requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, integration, delivery and production maintenance
Ability to interact with end users and analyze existing systems, conceptualize new ones, design system Integration, and deploying innovative client-server-based business solutions
Past experience with reporting systems that handle IT Operations data such as patch level, asset tracking, and configuration management.
Past experience with Quality Assurance or Software Development Lifecycle metrics development and reporting.
Experience using Quality Center or other Defect Tracking tools
Experience with Technology Asset Management systems
Education Requirements
Preferred -Computer Science degree from accredited 4-year university or ability to demonstrate relevant experience in application development
