Cabinet Showroom Consultant - Lensing Wholesale

Our focus includes windows, doors, cabinets, siding, and garage doors and hardware. The Lensing Home Showroom is conveniently located on Evansville's east side on Lincoln Avenue. We are Evansville's premier retail showroom for local homeowners and home builders to access quality building materials and design services.

The Cabinet Showroom Consultant will be the first point of contact for customers that visit, call or email the Cabinet Showroom and will assist them in finding products for their home project design choices with cabinets, countertops and closet organization.

This position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. No weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be friendly, outgoing and welcoming to customers with a desire and interest to provide exceptional service and customized design solutions
• Greet customers, answer calls and emails and understand customer needs
• Help customers find products that meet their needs and preferences
• Take orders from customers or sales representatives by phone or email
• Order materials to insure proper invoicing and delivery
• Track material and follow-up with customers on delivery and receiving
• Complete quote requests for dealer customers and counter customers
• Assist customers with selections, design solutions and concerns
• Communicate with customers on status of orders, inventory and assist with timing and delivery obstacles
• Transition customers to Design Consultants to meet customer project goals
• Release orders for delivery per customer or sale/design requests
• Process and receive stock and non-stock orders
• Coordinator with warehouse personnel to assure appropriate paperwork is received
• Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and confirm invoice accuracy
• Assist customers in bringing their projects together
• Maintain showroom presentation
• Assist with showroom display updates
• Assist Cabinet Showroom team with customers, orders and projects

Requirements

• Excellent communicator
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding the importance of customer service
• Front desk or retail sales or customer service experience
• Desire and interest in learning about the building industry and design
• Product knowledge or some design background as plus but not required
• Interior Architecture or Interior Design background a plus but not required
