About the Job
The Cable Repair & Manufacturing Technician manufactures, assembles and/or tests and repairs audio,
video and WiFi cables and related devices.
This role is typically Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM with overtime opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,
skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job under direct supervision of the
Cable Department Manager. Past experience working with cables from 24 gauge thru 8 gauge would be
very helpful in securing this position.
- Ability to read and follow procedures and diagrams to ensure product specifications and
tolerance levels are met.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair cables and related devices.
- Strong Soldering Skills
- Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure production at expected quality
and quantity levels.
- Familiarity operating test equipment
- Ability to work independently once a task has been mastered.
- Some lifting and physical labor required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma
0-2 years' experience assembling in a manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Wire prep
2. Soldering and crimping
3. Trouble shoot and repair cables and devices
4. Build Cables to Spec.
