About the Job
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
- May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. 10+ yrs of experience.
- Intersystems Cache, Object Script, Cache Server Pages
- MUMPS
- Intersystems IRIS
- Unix/Linux Shell scripting
- SQL
- Javascript/CSS
- XML/XSLT
- HL7
- Excellent problem-solving and design skills
- Experience with the LIS system will be added advantage.
- Experience with upgrading systems from Cache to IRIS would be added advantage.
