CAD Drafter at Manpower

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a CAD Drafter to join their team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be part of the value-added services team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Title: CAD Drafter

Location: Fairfield, OH

Pay Range: Based upon experience

What's the Job?

• Create shop drawings and programs from basic hand drawn concept sketches to architectural drawings.
• Utilize Cabinet Vision software to prepare shop drawings, assembly sheets, optimization cut sheets, shop lists, materials lists and detail notes.
• Draft fabrication and installation operations documents with total precision. Expand knowledge and functional understanding of CAD drafting software, and continuously strive to improve drawing efficiency.
• Work cooperatively with architects, project managers, and interior designers.
• Understanding of basic machine operations and distinguishing proper tooling to assign for each machining action.
• Create organized nest drawings to be used by the machine operator.
• Troubleshoot G-code and machine error codes as they relate to the CNC program.
• Work directly with shop floor personnel on issues and manufacturing concerns, ensuring continuous product and process improvements.
• Create quote proposals from these customers supplied files.
• Communicate directly with customers on files and quotes.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office platforms (Outlook, Excel, Word, Etc.)

What's Needed?
