CAD Drafter - TEKsystems

Job Description:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop fiber optic systems and networks.

• Assist in creating detailed schematics for fiber optic installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

• Update and maintain project documentation and system records.

• Provide support to other team members.

• High energy individual who is willing to be an integral part of a high growth service provider who puts people first, dares to be different and has fun disrupting an industry.

• Proven experience (1 - 3 years) in fiber optic network design and deployment.

• Familiarity with industry specific tools and software

• Excellent organizational skills- Ability to multi-task and be highly responsive to internal and external clients

• Demonstrated intense customer focus

• Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty and strong work ethic

• Takes initiative. Doesn’t wait to be asked. Plans efficiently while avoiding analysis paralysis

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• History in Fiber Engineering

• Familiarity with the fiber internet market and technology trends

• Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful. Has sound judgment and ability to be right a lot

• Consistent effort, intense commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed

• Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards

• Valid Driver’s License

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
