Job Title: CAD Manager
Our client is seeking a full-time CAD Manager with a versatile background in the AEC industry. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, capable of working collaboratively with managers and production leads to ensure project success. This position is available in our Milwaukee, Chicago, or Minneapolis offices.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain CAD standards for FDOT, IDOT, and MnDOT across the company.
- Assist in creating and maintaining both Corporate and Local Detail Libraries.
- Implement Open Roads Designer (ORD) standards and workflows to facilitate work-sharing between offices.
- Beta test software upgrades and add-ons before company-wide deployment.
- Troubleshoot software and workflow issues during daily operations.
- Standardize and document drawing protocols.
- Program and standardize E-Field booking.
- Participate in user groups to ensure the team utilizes the software efficiently.
- Prepare renderings and project simulations.
- Provide application support and knowledge management.
- Lead training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of production CAD experience, with a focus on transportation discipline and experience coordinating with models and drawings from multiple disciplines.
- A 2-year technical degree is preferred.
- Capability to produce work within a specific discipline.
- Knowledge of National CAD Standard documents is a plus.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills are a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple short-term and long-term tasks and project deadlines.
